Rides

Hi guys, just a few quick updates:

1) Time Trial at the Speedway

The first Time Trial at Lowes Motor Speedway is this coming Wednesday.
It's not to late to decide you want to do it. This event is for ANYONE,

no matter how strong you feel you are. If nothing else, it's free to
come out and take a look, to get a sense of what it's all about. Just
go to the rear entrance to the speedway infield, sign the waiver, and
find a place to park. First bikes roll off at 6:30pm.

For those of you who are definitely participating, we are going to try
to get a garage stall early, so everyone has a place to gather out of
the sun. We will try to get a place at the lower garage toward the back

near the restrooms.

2) Registration Cookout and Fashion Show

We are having a membership registration cookout and jersey fit session
on Sunday May 16th at Shawn Fleming's house in Kannapolis at 2 PM. We
encourage everyone to come out and try on the jerseys to lock in your
size for the upcoming jersey orders. Bring the whole family! Check
back for more information, as Shawn will be sending out more complete
details soon. Right Shawn?

3) Another Morrow Mountain Ride this Saturday. 62 miles. Morrow
Mountain. Saturday 8:30 AM from Running Creek Elementary School.
http:www.weeklyrides.com for more info.

4) The Collier Lilly Ride 4 Life Saturday June 5 7:00 AM

The Collier Lilly Ride 4 Life is a recreational bike ride to honor the
life of Collier Cobb Lilly, raise awareness and money for organ sharing,

and to bring various communities together to celebrate life.

For serious cyclists, the day kicks-off with a 100K (@ 62 miles), a 50K
(@ 31 miles) or a 15K (@ 10 miles) ride through the beautiful back roads

of Mecklenburg, Iredell, Rowan, and Cabarrus counties. These rides will
be fully supported with rest stops and SAG vehicles. The rides will
begin and end at Baker Sports Complex on the campus of Davidson College
in Davidson, NC.

After your ride, hang around for a delicious lunch (included with your
registration fee!!) and fun-filled activities for the whole family.
