[C4 Rides] LSD Ride

We're ending the LSD (Long Slow Distance) rides for the season and I want
to thank everyone who rode with us this year. They were fun rides. I
particularly want to thank Jim Roof for leading the ride whenever I
couldn't be there.

We'll start the LSD rides again next spring and in the meantime we're going
to be re-thinking the ride. We'd like to begin next year with some easier
warm-up rides early in the spring and then get the ride up to the 45-50
mile range as early in the season as we can. We'd also like to find some
new routes, perhaps with a diner at the mid-point where we can stop for
breakfast and make the rides even more of a social occasion.

I'm going to pull a small group together over the winter to think about
routes and alternative starting points -- if you'd like to join that
discussion, or if you have some route suggestions, drop me an email at
smosier7 at gmail.com.

Again, thanks to everyone who helped us get the LSD ride off the ground
this year.
