[C4 Rides] Route advice needed for NCDOT

Hey Guys,

I have been working with a planning agency who has been hired by the NC 
State DOT to scope out and redesign the NC state official bike route 
system.  They have been asking me about what I thought about certain 
routes they were looking to create.  One in particular was from 
PIneville through Uptown Charlotte, to Concord.  They have consulted 
with a group that is familiar with Pineville and Uptown, for the lower 
portion.    For the upper portion Stephen took his best guess.

Personally, I'm not too sure about how the ride on Tryon is through 
there, but generally I stay away from that area.  Would you recommend 
that anyone ride up 29 from University to Concord?  I've never ridden 
that, and not sure I would attempt it.

Routes are pretty limited.  Possibly get them over to 49 somehow, then 
over to Roberta Rd to Downtown Concord?  Does anyone have any thoughts 
on other options?
