Subject: [C4members] Night Main Light for Road and Mountain Biking

Everyone,

I had sent this out last year and quite a few folks bought one (or two). They have definitely lasted for over a year and, for $20, you can't really beat that. So, in the hopes that a few of you plan to ride nights with us, here is the info again.

--------------

After talking on Tuesday night, I decided I'd send this link out again. Price is below $20 for a 1200 Lumen light. You can't even buy replacement batteries that cheap. I ended up getting 3 lights in total. One for the head, one for the MTB handlebars, one for the road handlebars. However, if I keep all three battery packs charged, that still gives me a spare pack for each bike.

I won't speak to the long term quality of these, particularly the battery life, as I've had my main unit on for about a year; but for $20 it seems as good as any other I've seen. Also, I did test mine last week. On the low setting (I would call the normal setting) it ran for OVER 2 hours and 45 minutes. I'm not sure how much longer it would have lasted, but I had to go to bed and figured 2:45 was longer than I wanted to be riding in the cold and dark anyway! I've heard it can be 4 to 6 hours at least...

So, here you go...

Thanks,

Sean Earnhardt
