Anyone doing "Tour de Turns" this weekend. Really fun or frustrating ride depending on whether you get lost in all the turn arrows or not.

Who all is going as of now? And I just realized that I'm coming home for the weekend so ill probably ride from the right gear. Also how long is the ride itself?

Good Monday folks! Just wanted to put a quick note out and drum up some interest in the next 2 Saturday's rides.

This coming Saturday, 8/22 is the next to last Assault on Morrow Mountain. There are a few of us planning to leave The Right Gear at 6:20 on Saturday morning so as to be at the start of the ride about 7:30. (Giving time for bathroom break as well as bottle refills and sign-up.) I think several of you have mentioned doing this 100 Mile ride but have yet to do so. I highly suggest you do it as it's really fun and rewarding. You can always do what I did the first couple of times and arrange for someone already on the ride to give you a lift back into town if you think 80 is all you have in you for the day. At least give it a shot. Also, the ride back from the school is generally at whatever pace the slowest rider is. If that's you; then that's the pace!

So, if you are riding from TRG let us know. If you are NOT riding from TRG but are riding from the school, let us know.

NEXT Saturday, the 29th, will be the Tour de Saints ride out of Concord. I know there will be a large showing of the club at that ride as well. Make plans to join now. The AOMM ride would be a great pre-cursor to the TDS ride the following week.

Also, if you are on Facebook, both of these are events on the club site; please sign up there as well!

Thanks all and we'll see you on the road.

Sean E
