[C4 Rides] Possible Brewery Ride

Question for all of you. We have been asked by the new High Branch Brewery
in Concord if we could make their location a stop for our group rides or
have a ride leaving from there. The general consensus is that with all of
the rides and activities that we have going on throughout the week, that we
really couldn't manage another ride. BUT, Shawn Fleming did have a good
idea: He suggested an "Urban Assault" type of ride on mountain bikes,
cruisers, fixies, or anything other than a spandex/lycra road ride. The
thought was to make it easily accessible to more people and it could wind
through Concord, hit the greenway, and not be too strenuous. This could be
something that could be led by anyone really without special uber 'A' rider
status. Another aspect of it could be that High Branch and possibly
Cabarrus brewery would team up and donate $1 to charity for each rider that
showed up (Similar to the Unknown Brewery ride)

I have a meeting with the marketing manager at High Branch at Noon on
Saturday. My intention is to help get them started with an event from an
advisory standpoint, but not lock us into the responsibility of having to
run it. I wanted to run this idea past the group at large and see if you
had any suggestions, or if anyone wanted to help get something like this
kicked off, and focus it on a charity. Thoughts, comments, opinions?
