I like option 3. That was a good ride.

Con's: we still have to deal with traffic on early part of Rocky River, Mileage is a bit long for those riding in from TRG. Elevation is a bit much by the end of the ride as well.

Con's: we still have to deal with traffic on early part of Rocky River, but this route does help with the distance / time factor bringing it more inline with the original route. One other pro is that Brief rd. is also cut out.

Pro's: Lower Rocky River could be potential Pace Line much like Hickory Ridge had been. Time and Distance are pretty close to original. Con's: We don't get to do Hickory Ridge and we still have to do Brief.

>> Off the top, I’m going to state that the option #1 above is not good simply based on length / time. It’s simply too long (timewise) for many of the regular riders who have Sunday Night activities as well as simply trying to make it back to TRG by dark. So that really leaves us looking at only 3 options. #1: Don’t change anything and keep the route we’ve had for previous years. #2: Cut off the Brief Rd. Area but keep Hickory Ridge and early part of Rocky River. And lastly, Option #3: Cut Hickory Ridge and all of Rocky River.

>> By the way, since most folks liked doing the “Old Flowe” route, we’ll do that some as well. We pretty much have only Coty that comes in from a different direction and he always meets at the park or on the road the park is on. If everyone that shows up wants to do the old flowe on occasion and we pick up Coty, we’ll do it just to mix things up some. The main thing with that route is that we really have to stick together due to all the rolling hills. It’s not an easy route to “sit in” on at all.
