I left Lander after picking up packages I had sent there. I ordered it two day to the post office general delivery hold for Terry Taylor they were sent by UPS the lady at the post office said since they came to the post office I have to pay postage on them I had to pay 25 dollars to the post office after paying shipping already to get them from the post office.
I journeyed toward Jeffery City which used to be named Home On The Range until 1957 when it was changed to Jeffery City after Dr Jeffery a financier of uranium mining ofWestern Nuclear Corporation Thousands of people came here seeking work the company built the company town for them. In the early 80s the uranium market collapsed and the town died with the closing of the mines now there are about fifty people here. I stayed at the Baptist Church which dosen't seem to be a working church the weeds are three feet tall but they open it to cyclists and It is very popular stopping place they encourage us to write on the walls about ourselves I will send some pictures
The ride here was different in that I had headwinds all the way I was spoiled from weeks of tail winds had some climbing also my Garmin showed 2500 feet of up I will get on the road now
