Can you see the rabbit? He is wearing camo so it's alright if you can't see him just take my word, there is truly a rabbit in this photo

Left camp late, like noon o'clock as
I wanted my tent to dry. I only got to Talkeetna it's fifteen miles off the Banks Highway. Small town lots of tourists and shops to cater to them. The train stops here, a sea plane base an airport and they organize back packing trips from here. There was live music in the park and a party atmosphere in the air. There was as small city run campground and I got a campsite and Nick showed up on his V-Strom motorcycle and we share the site. He had just come back from a trip up the haul road to Prudoe Bay sp? That road is not paved and is used to haul oil field equipment by very large trucks it is very difficult to travel by a dual sport.type bike. He met a couple of other adventurous souls and they took off. He said there is nothing to see and it stinks and very cold above the arctic circle. It was just the challenge of the road that riders attempt it.
Nick is an interesting guy, He turned forty and the event shook him into doing some self analysis, he determined he didn't like Ohio and didn't like his employment so quite his job sold his house put his. belongings in storage and left on his m/c to travel and look for his new state some where with mountains and an employment possibility He said he is going to travel for six months on the bike.
It rained and is raining now. I broke camp and put on my raingear and started out. I got out of town and climbing a hill I shifted to my small chainring the. chain jammed and I was able to jump off the bike and not fall I really don't like to fall these days it usually means something is going to break and not necessarily on the bike.
The chain broke, in all my years of bike riding that has never happened. It twisted and the side plates separated I took my small pliers and was able to squeeze the side plates together but the link is twisted and just barely holding together. I was able to make it back to town about two miles. There is no bike repair here and I really need a new chain. I called my go to help brother Tom . He is going to the Pioneer Day parade in Palmer. His wife was born here her parents were part of the early settlers in Palmer.
He said he would call me back.
I am sitting on a picnic table in the small park under cover somewhat the rain blows in and it is a cold rain and cold day.
So that's why this is so wordy I have the time Anyway I will end this now and know it will be a better day tomorrow!
