Missouri is Indian for hilly country. After traveling 20 miles or so I realized that I am subject to the 30 x3.0 rule. That rule is I go 30 mph down the hill and 3.0 up the hill. There are no flat roads in MO.
My legs hadn't recovered from the day before hills so I would have to go to my lowest gear quickly no power to go through the gears which would be normal.
I left Ash Grove went through Walnut Grove pop 701 then through Fair Grove pop1412 and finally to Marshfield (no grove)
Pop 6686.
I went 47.7 miles and climbed 3192.3 feet.
It is raining this AM I am having difficulty get ride started.
I was thinking yesterday about stores. I like the dollar stores cause I can often buy products in smaller sizes ideal for packing on a bike. My friend in GA, Paul Barr says that many people prefer the dollar stores cause they don't have to dress up like when going to Walmart. Makes sense to me.
