I stayed a couple of nights at a warm showers gal here in Seward
Warm Showers is an ap that the members only take in bicyclists usually they are other touring cyclists.
Linda is the travelingist cyclist I ever met and she does not have what one would call a bikers body
She is short and a bit heavy yet she could ride most of us into the dust I don't mean fast but endurance my dear friend Diane Carter was like that I never thought there could be two of them.

rode her bike for over a year and a half straight
She went to Australia and spent a year riding all over that country then went to NewZealand and rode there for several months then to Alaska and rode it including the haul road to Prudue Bay that road is for very large trucks to haul oil field equipment to the fields at the top of the world the road is rocks and sand only hard core motorcyclists try it and then it requires a dual sport motorcycle 
I saw a Honda Goldwing strapped onto a pallet he had tried to go up the haul road and wrecked his motorcycle it was being shipped back to the lower 48
Linda is 57 years old and works harder than anyone I know
She works at the Cannery and is a EMT person and volunteers for ambulance duty they do not have ambulance service here except the volunteer service so she has certain days when she is on call.
When cruise ships come in she. is the liaison between the longshoremen and the workers on the ship she has to make sure that the luggage goes to the right destination the train or the airport or the tour busses.then she volunteers at the food bank.
