Still in Kansas  for Elaine's benifit. Arrived in Newton at a decent time as I left early enough this time. Stayed at the famous Newton Bike Shop Hostel one stays in the bike shop they have beer on tap a fine kitchen and almost a grocery store I make a list of the things I eat and will settle my bill in am when they come in. There is stereo pool table flat screen TV a fine place and I am the only one here. I have a long day planned but a alternate plan if I can't make it happen. Another day where the map says 58 miles with no services. So I got to make it that far.
